Cranes & Mobile Cranes
Equipments operating under load, which are in the status of lifting and forwarding vehicles such as cranes, are work equipment that must be constantly monitored in terms of usage conditions.
In our country and in the world, there are many occupational accidents due to the misuse of cranes and accessories and the use of defective vehicles. Periodic inspections of cranes and training of operators is a practice required by both safe working conditions and legal regulations. It is also very important for the operators to inspect the hooks and ropes, which are the most critical parts of the cranes, before each use.
Prior to the crane inspection by RM Mechatronic, the previous periodic control report of the machine, if any, is reviewed and if a nonconformity is detected in the previous inspection, it is definitely checked whether this nonconformity has been corrected. After that, specialized technical checks for different types of cranes begin, for example rail checks for rail towers, rope and drum checks are completed. According to the regulation, the test load in the static test to be carried out during the periodic controls of the cranes must be at least 1.25 times the declared load, and at least 1.1 times the dynamic test. The control period for cranes is once a year, without prejudice to the periods stipulated by the specialized standards.
Mobile cranes have the functionality to move horizontally and vertically, they are severely used for lifting and transporting any kind of cargo. There are 180 degree and 360 degree rotating ones.
As RM Mechatronic,we support our clients with our competent teams. We check that the equipment and auxiliary equipment can safely carry out the lifting work, the equipment can fulfill the test requirements, in the periodic crane checks, we report the detected deficiencies or dangerous situations in order to fulfill the obligations of the Regulation on Health and Safety Conditions in the Use of Work Equipment.
After the periodic control of the equipment is completed, if any nonconformities are found out, the equipment should be reorganized as soon as possible and the equipment should be inspected again after the nonconformities are eliminated.

Tower Cranes & Gantry Cranes
When cranes are classified according to their mobility, there are two types of cranes that move on the carriers on a rail system, these are tower cranes and bridge cranes. Bridge cranes consist of a bridge construction located between two high-mounted crane roads. Control of cranes can be from a simple operator station or from a mobile operator station, from the ground or remotely. Working areas of tower cranes are generally construction works with high height. Wind, acceleration and working heights should be taken into consideration to ensure that tower cranes operate safely.
Prior to the crane inspection by RM Mechatronic, the previous periodic control report of the machine, if any, is reviewed and if a nonconformity is detected in the previous inspection, it is definitely checked whether this nonconformity has been corrected.
Within the scope of visual checks, corrosion, visible cracks, deformation status, curvature checks must be made. Within the scope of functionality checks, the traveling group, lifting group, control functions, brake etc. Such checks must be made. Static and dynamic load tests are also performed by RM Mechatronics expert staff within the framework of the periodic criteria in the table below.
After the periodic control of the equipment is completed, if any nonconformities are found out, the equipment should be reorganized as soon as possible and the equipment should be inspected again after the nonconformities are eliminated.
